You have purchased one of the finest mesh containment covers made. No Cover lasts forever, though, especially if it is not properly used.

Here are a few tips to extend the useful life of your tarps and reduce your operating costs.

Tie Off All Grommets - Buttoning down all around will keep the cover from flapping in the wind and save on the wear and tear it causes. Also, when all grommets are used instead of just a few, it distributes the stress and minimizes the chance of a grommet pullout.
Never Dump A Load Without Removing Your Tarp - Yes, it's faster, but a tarp can be lost if a piece of debris gets caught and tears it.
Use A Tarp With Two Grommets In Each Corner - Corner grommets are almost always used and often bear the most stress. When a single corner grommet pulls out, the tarp can be damaged by flapping and the load may not be contained. With two grommets in each corner, even if one is lost, there is a back-up.
- Alphasource™ mesh covers have two brass grommets in each corner to minimize the problem of grommet pullout.
Have The Front Of The Cover "Boxed" - The fitted cover will keep the wind from lifting the cover and causing damage. Reinforce the boxed corners with vinyl for added durability.
Use a Cover Made From Strong, Tear-Resistant Fabric -
- Test the fabric before buying.
- So-called "economy tarps" may not last and could cost more in the long run.
